Sarah Currie

Sarah Currie is a Georgia girl at heart, but moving has been a big part of her story. She was born in Ohio, moved to Georgia, then to California, landing back at UGA for college in 2000. Upon graduating and getting engaged, Sarah moved to Orlando, Florida where she got married and completed her Master’s in Education. Sarah has taught elementary, middle, high school, and college at her alma mater, the University of Georgia. Sarah has always been interested in real estate as her mom was a realtor when she was growing up. Between her own experiences with moving, along with her passion for helping people, Sarah’s dream of doing real estate became a reality when she got her license in 2020. Sarah loves creating an amazing experience for her clients and helping them along every step of the way during their real estate transactions. Sarah has lived in both Athens and Oconee County, so considers herself a local expert and loves getting to introduce people to all our community has to offer. Sarah is married to her husband, Matt, and they have three children ages 18, 15, and 9. In her spare time she loves going on walks with her dog, Daisy, serving at her church, playing pickleball, and watching Georgia football! GO DAWGS! Sarah is a “Circle of Achievement” recipient as well as an experienced buyer’s and listing agent, so is able to provide a pleasant and low-stress experience whatever your real estate needs are!
